Terrebonne Parish
Councilman
District 3 (Rep.)
“I am a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish. I have worked in the oil and gas industry as well as local sales for forty years. I am currently Project Manager at Coastal Safety, locally owned in Houma. I have been married to Mona Sapia-Voisin for eighteen years. We have four children and seven grandchildren. My father is the late Clayton Voisin Sr., married to Veronica Voisin. My mother is Teresa Snijdewind, married to Fritz Snijdewind.
I am passionate about coastal protection and restoration. I also strongly support the fishing industry. Other areas I know that are major concerns are drainage, roads, and bridges. I would like to continue the improvement of these areas in our beloved Terrebonne Parish. I am also strongly motivated to help the youth in our district. We need to improve our recreation, vocational, and economic development in our parish. These areas have a direct impact and can shape the growth of our youth. Our next generation also should be inspired to stay in Terrebonne Parish as adults, not struggle and relocate due to lack of opportunities. Going along with our generational help, our elderly also needs to be protected and honored. I will also support all proposals that can better the quality of life for the elderly and disabled.
As your Councilman in District 3, I will listen to the citizens and take pride in representing my community."
